This week in ISM, I completed my composite research and design for my original work project, as I finished bridging the gaps in what I had found in my research on acne treatments and its effects in varying cases of severity that served to guide my study. Alongside this, I have finally been able to finish analyzing the process of designing and inputting data into the treatment plan according to recent medical guidelines. As such, I am able to have confidence in the combination and comparison aspects of my research, as it provides extensive background knowledge on the prescription of treatments and under which conditions they should be prescribed. Since this is my first time conducting this kind of project, I was initially worried about the process and the end result, but with guidance from more experienced professionals, I believe that my study will become a good point of comparison for clinical trials. Now looking back, I truly believe that this project has helped me grow as it has vastly expanded my view on the field and gave me the background information to delve deeper into the field. This is because it allowed my research to be able to lead me into different directions regarding the steps from formulation to completion.
